Dear Gentlemen,

With the expected arrival of BF3 by the end of this month, I've gone ahead and cancelled the BC2 server. The current BC2 server should be active until the end of the month.

But don't let that get you down because we have pre-ordered a 64 player BF3 server! We've locked in some "promotional" pricing that's guaranteed for the life of our subscription even if the rates are increased in the future.

Unfortunately, even with this reduced pricing, the BF3 server is more than twice the cost of the outgoing BC2 server.

I have always felt uncomfortable at asking this community for money since you all have been incredibly supportive already. Yes the PayPal button in the upper right still works but I'm going to ask you to only donate what you think the gaming and community experience is worth to you.

As always, your input is appreciated and valued equally whether you donate or not. This website is not here to make money. The most important goal is to have a place we can all have fun, together. I know most of us are no longer the college students who could constantly play Desert Combat, and because of that we value what gaming time we have these days. A lot of us have grown up and live if the "real" world. The idea behind running our own server is so that we can can provide a consistent gaming experience so that we don't waste time trying to find a lag-free server that has enough slots for all of us - or isn't full of Ass Hats.

Much like our BC2 Event last weekend (great fun, thanks again!) do we have enough people interested in playing TF2 as an Event Night?

Luckily, in-game voice chat works in TF2 so we won't have to shuffle people around on TS - bonus.

We have a couple of members returning from long hiatuses and several of us found ourselves on TS last night but we were all playing different games. So!
