Must of us ave already had the chance to gun in the Liberator and are getting pretty successful at piloting and gunning in these. In some cases we've been bold enough to pick fights with ESFs without a tail gunner and win. I find myself piloting the Lib 99% of the time and I'll tell you why I like it so much:

For those nights when I just want to relax, I find that flying a Lib is one of the most casual ways to help your team and rack up some cert points. For every kill one of my gunners makes I get XP. The effort involved for me usually involves getting the Lib hovering over a target area and let the gunners do the work. What you gunners may not realize is that a lot of the time I'm doing other things while we hover, like playing Draw Something, Words with Friends, checking my email etc. It really does make for a nice relaxing night of free certs.

It is disappointing that the gunner's don't get any of the shared XP like the pilot: If the main gunner gets a kill, it's my understanding that the tail gunner receives no XP for that kill while the pilot will get almost 50% of the XP of the kill.

So now that some of the gunners are getting proficient in shooting down aircraft with the big 150mm main gun, should we try switching out the Walker turret in the rear with a bulldog so the rear gunner can earn some XP?

Conversely, we have been getting to the point where we need to be operating 2 Libs: When there are 4 of us on at the same time we can run 2 Libs in formation. I know my Lib as well as DST and Khag have plenty of upgrades at this point. Even if you have a base Lib, we can use it as the second Lib in the formation - the stock Shredder Turret is great against everything and probably better against ESF's than the 150mm (higher chance of successful kills).

Speaking of XP and Certs - I'll admit that I get way more XP playing as a Heavy Assault than I do as a Lib pilot but I will fly a Lib anytime someone wants one.
