| Does anybody know if there is a way to Post a picture from my Steam account directly into the forum, so it shows up as an Image and not a link? |

Since the links on a Steam screen shot don't end in a file extension the [img] code doesn't know what to do with it and simply displays the link. You can link directly to specific screenshots - you'll have to click on the specific screenshot which should pop up a preview type pain. From there, click the link in the upper left corner. You can try to copy this link or click on it(taking you to that screenshot's webpage) and copy from the URL from your browser's address bar.
This sucks. It appears they are deliberately doing this so you cannot hot link just an image. I believe that you can post screenshots from your Steam page on the Steam forums as they have special code to handle it. It appears that they really want people to see all the Steam related community stuff instead of allowing users to use their Steam community space as an imageshack/photobucket replacement. |
