So with more and more of us playing on the server at the same time, the perception is that DC clan stacks and dominates (though there is evidence to the contrary). Perception is real in the eyes of the casual. To this end, as an experiment, I've removed DC from the whitelist and we should no longer be balanced to the same team. But this does not stop us from joining the same same team.

What is everyone's thoughts and not running the DC clan tag in-game?

Split up into other tags and white list those.

Who wants an invite to [MTL] ?

I am in support of removing the [DC] tag. On one hand you have players from the same clan/platoon who want to play together, so we do all we can to make that happen. On the other hand the DC guys also want to play together, but somehow we shouldn't be doing that in the minds of the players. Not really fair to us, but without the tag I think everything will just work out.

Perhaps putting "not a clan" in the server title might also help to let players know that we're not leet pro gamers trying to pubstomp.

We could be witty in the server title letting everyone know how much we suck.

Speaking of keeping the Teamspeak users together. At this point, there are few of us that I can simply add the player names to the whitelist giving the same effect as having the clan tag.

There's also that amazeballs TS plugin developed by the people over at tactical gamer. Auto moves people into voice channels by team and squad.

We've looked at that plugin and I think it only works in one direction. Info from the gameserver can be used to move people on TS, but I don't think the reverse is possible.

So I'm not sure what has changed but I haven't seen anyone complain in the past couple of weeks about DC stacking even though I feel like we've been winning more and more games.

With the recent changes to 32 player Rush we need to be mindful of stacking the teams. If there are more than 5 of us on we should make every effort to split us up to even the server. To help with this I've enabled a setting in Multibalancer that will disperse us evenly at 5 or more DC players. Don't expect this to work automagically all the time, we should move ourselves manually as the first step.

Moving ourselves shows the other pubbers that we are serious about balancing the server. Let them see in chat your move messages, ie do the !fmove a chat message to the whole server and not just your team or squad. If you decide to use the built-in team switch interface in BF4, think about throwing a quick chat message letting everyone know you're switching to help keep the server balanced. If you don't have admin abilities, as an admin to move you!

Being proactive in balance and not relying on Multibalancer can make us stand out from all those non-admin servers.

also tried seeding the other day got an idle kick.

Didn't do anything in game. I launched and minimized while tooling around in World of Warcraft.

You'll need to use one of the automated seeding programs linked in NT's post: https://www.dontcamp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11649

I should have also said thank you for helping seed. I can walk you, or anyone, through setting up the seeding software.
