I was just banned on the server "DontCamp.com is not a clan | NO K10 | 32p Blood Money & Hotwire" in Battlefield Hardline. I find hysterical how I was banned for using a word I wasn't notified was on an instant ban list.
Being a proud gay man myself I find this even more funny. Restricting a word doesn't take away it's power, it enforces it. You should remember that.

I would like my ban lifted though,
Dr. Chuckles.

I agree with you on that point, but the filter isn't about taking away the power of a word. The filter is about removing stupid people that say stupid shit without thinking, and the filter serves that purpose very well. You'll also notice there are no list of banned words listed everywhere in public, and despite that, you would (usually) be handled roughly if you shouted, say, "fuck <epithet>" in a room filled with 31 other people that you've never met, whether or not the epithet in question applied to any of those people.

That's just stupid.

I won't argue ethics on a system that bans on singular words and not context, I simply want an unban, lol.

Unlikely, lol.

You're confusing ethics with manners.
