Thank you for the test on your Server. And thank you for the fast feedback review about the test.
I want to tell it a friend, he can goes in contact to the developer of this Super DC v2.06 Mod. I will hope he can find a solution for the crashes.
But what was your experience in this mod?
Do you like the content, Maps, Ideas, Forces and weapons?

Yes my friends and I enjoyed the SuperDC mod. Yes we enjoyed the content, maps, ideas, Forces and weapons. Yes we would put a bunch of the maps in our rotation if the crashes and the other bugs were resolved.

Things to fix in order of priority:

1) fix the server and client crashes (this is a "must have")
2) fix the bug that allows bots (and only bots) to spawn in vehicles and gun emplacements after their flag has been lost (this is a "nice to have")
3) please make more maps that have at most one untakeable main base, that is, allow for fast ticket count down due to annihilation on more maps please. (this is a "feature request")

Good that guy tell us:

Quote:
He think to do mg"s not respawn after destroyed.
Server crashes as he see with players.
He tryed to test dedicated server with no players to see crash problems- practically no crashes, so problems with joining players.

Coop game crash problem:
http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18327

Next version will test more multiplayer.

Igil faction 80-90% complete. (molotov, galil scope, chikom, tech9, mac10s)

We will hope your Chicago Server Members (included me) enjoy the next update of this Super DC v2.07 mod. At the moment it haves some sick in the stability. But if that is fixed, i think we can enjoy the evenings a lot. And we have got the best Desert Combat ever. Thanks to the russian guy "bbfplayer"!

woodywoodpecker, did you see this post on the BattleGroup42 facebook page? I sounds to me like they are dealing with some of the same issues that SuperDC is dealing with.

Coop - a pain in the neck

Hi guys, another update on the Coop problems. And this time i'm really, really p...ed.

Despite all of my testing and debugging, there are still some maps which cause massive performance drops, lags, server crashes or are simply disconnecting the client. We NEVER had that much problems with Coop before, and about the only difference between the latest builds like RC2 and earlier ones like 1.8 open Beta is the fact that back then we were still using Windows XP or Windows 7 without any kind of No-CD patch, the original Linux server files and the original EA masterserver.

I'm almost convinced that many of the problems right now are not even mod related, but some kind of problem with the so called fixed files for Battlefield 1942, both the client and server files.

Since the problems occur randomly and are not really traceable (sometimes the same map starts lagging like hell right from the start, sometimes only after a few minutes), it's almost impossible to find the responsible error. The debugger for Bf42 doesn't help in every situation, and that's a major problem too. Some bugs the debugger shows have absolutely no explanation in them, which makes it impossible to even locate the bug.

I've triple-checked lots of files already, read many debugger logs, but i just can't figure out what the heck is wrong. And that's definitely the worst thing that can happen to a developer: Knowing that something is wrong, but not knowing where to find and fix the bug(s).

Right now i'm going over the build again, and i'll definitely have to upload a new version of RC2 before release. Today i already found a few bugs here and there, and i hope that i'll find some more. The release should still be available next week, but rather at the end of the week.

I'll keep you posted !

yes it seems to be.
But for now Battlegroup42 RC is released at 1.11.2015, four days ago exactly. There are 2 servers online for play. Pepper Gun and [MOB].
